Nelson class[1]
The Federation Starship Menke, a Nelson class scout, disappeared along the rimward frontier in February 2267. Hull fragments from the ship were discovered 280 parsecs away in August 2278, more than 11 years later. Scientists were baffled trying to determine what may have happened to the ship.[2]
