Intrepid class[1]
The Federation Starship Pathfinder was an Intrepid (II) class light explorer. On Stardate 50796.4, the Pathfinder was part of a joint Federation-Klingon task force sent to counter an attack on telepathic species by the Dominion just prior to the onset of the Dominion War. The Pathfinder was destroyed during an engagement with several D'Deridex class warbirds that had been captured by the Dominion.[2]
