The Federation Starship Titan was a Luna class vessel.[1] Captain William Riker took command of the Titan in 2379,[2] and commanded the ship until 2398,[3] when he took an extended leave of absence to care for his terminally ill son, Thaddeus Troi-Riker.[4] Riker was succeeded by Captain Liam Shaw,[5] and while the ship was originally slated for refit, the structural damage to its systems was so severe that the ship was scrapped instead, though many of its components were recycled into its successor, the Constitution III class U.S.S. Titan NCC-80102-A.[3]
