Watcher drones

Watcher drones were robots that acted as the eyes and ears of The Diviner on Tars Lamora, as well as his enforcers among the population of enslaved prisoners. They were armed with energy weapons in their tails, as well as sharp blades, and their small size enabled them to go into places that most of the captives could not. They had limited artificial intelligence, and could be controlled through both voice commands as well as gestures.[1]
