Mohawk class (SFC)
The Hydran Kingdoms' Mohawk class new heavy cruiser was a variant of the Lancer class destroyer, and was easily the equivalent of the Ranger class cruiser that it was intended to supplant, with nearly equivalent systems and superior firing arcs. The Mohawk class was notable in that it had 20% more battery power than the Iroquois or Cheyenne classes. Commissioned in 2296, the Mohawk class featured a crew complement of 350, a capacity of eight shuttlecraft, and was equipped with four science labs, two transporters, and three tractor beam emitters. The class carried two squadrons of four Stinger class fighters, was armed with four fusion beam emitters, two banks of Type-1 phasers, four banks of Type-2 phasers, and two banks of Type-G Gatling phasers.[1]
