The Federation Starship Tolstoy was a Rigel class[1] heavy scout.[2] On Stardate 44002.3, the Tolstoy engaged the Borg during the Battle of Wolf 359. Unfortunately, the Tolstoy was destroyed in the engagement, along with 38 other vessels.[3] Named for Russian author Leo Tolstoy, who wrote War and Peace.[1]
