mirror
From Trekipedia
A mirror was a reflective piece of glass or metal. Mirrors were part of the standard equipment in personnel quarters aboard ships such as the U.S.S. Enterprise NCC-1701.[1] Lieutenant Jaeger noticed that Trelane never seemed to stray far from the mirror in his ballroom on Gothos, leading the crew to speculate that it was somehow linked to his powers. A hidden machine behind the mirror seemed to confirm this hypothesis.[2] Gorgan made a mirror appear at Lieutenant Uhura's station, projecting an image of her as an incredibly aged and infirm woman in an effort to prevent her from carrying out her duties.[3]
