FASA Timeline
The Emperor was the ruler of the Klingon Empire. Though, by tradition, his power was absolute, the Imperial Council acted as a partial restraint on the Emperor. If displeased or in disagreement with him, the Council could have the Emperor replaced, exiled, or assassinated.[1]
