Oberth class[1]
The Federation Starship Daystrom, an Oberth class vessel, was commissioned in July 2350.[2]
Note
Named for the Human computer scientist, Dr. Richard Daystrom. Although the "Star Trek: The Next Generation Officer's Manual" lists the Daystrom as a Sagan class vessel, this designation was superseded by the Oberth class name.
