The Lyran vessel Bloodguard, a DDG+ type Leopard class commando destroyer, was commissioned circa 2250 as a DD-type destroyer. The ship was refit to DD+ specifications circa 2268, then to DDP specifications circa 2286. The ship was refit to DDG commando destroyer specifications some time prior to 2292, then to DDG+ specifications at about that time.[1]
