Aakar was a special operations soldier and a member of House Mo'Kai. He was captured at Priors World in 2256 by the U.S.S. Buran NCC-1422.[1] He and the other prisoners of war attempted to escape when the ship was attacked by reinforcements from House Mo'Kai, but the escape attempt was thwarted by Captain Gabriel Lorca and his crew, as well as another captain from another ship that had recently arrived in the system. Aakar and the other prisoners were transferred via that ship to Facility 2047, a classified Federation prison for dangerous and high-profile prisoners, but it also soon fell prey to a computer virus that had been imbedded in the prisoners' DNA and which infected the computer systems when medical scans were performed. Aakar was rescued when J'Ula arrived at the facility, leading a raiding party.[2]
