On Stardate 57436.2, Ensign D'Vana Tendi left Outpost 79 to join the crew of the U.S.S. Cerritos NCC-75567 as a medical assistant. During her first mission, Second Contact with the Galardonians, a rage virus spread throughout the ship, and she soon found herself having to manually pump the heart of Lieutenant Commander Stevens during emergency open-heart surgery.[1]
