The Federation Starship Morgan City, a Loknar class frigate, was commissioned in July 2249. The Morgan City was captured in September 2252, during the Four Years War. Renamed to I.K.S. Staav'eMara, or "Slave of Justice," the Morgan City was used by Klingon Admiral Kamato during the remainder of the war, and then in Kamato's abortive coup attempt on the Klingon government. When the coup failed, Kamato retreated into the Triangle, taking the frigate with him. From the Triangle, the Klingon rebels began attacking unprotected convoys and merchant ships, using the Staav'eMara to lure them in. The ruse lasted for several years, until a general recall of Loknar class vessels made it difficult for the Klingons to operate. The vessel was then repainted in Klingon colors, and as late as January 2281, the Staav'eMara still operated in the renegade Imperial Klingon States's fleet.[2]
