Reference Stardate 1/2201 through 1/2212
- RSD 1/22: Thanks to breakthroughs in transtator physics, subspace radio is installed on starships for the first time. Presently, subspace radio can travel at up to warp 30 and reaches every part of the explored galaxy. This quickly proved invaluable, as Dr. Stephan Mortimer, science officer aboard the Placido class U.S.S. Bellweather, was able to remotely utilize the more powerful computers aboard Starbase 12 to quickly deterimine a firing solution to relieve tectonic stress on Gamma Spica, saving millions.[1]
- RSD 1/22: The Castor class cruiser, boasting a crew complement of 100, is commissioned. The class will remain in service until 2156.[1]
