The Talosian singing plants were native to Talos IV. They produced sound through their vibrations, which had a pleasant effect upon humanoid nervous systems.[1] In the Mirror Universe, Terran Emperor Philippa Georgiou ordered an orbital bombardment of the planet in order to kill the Talosians "and their stupid, singing plants."[2]
