A god was a being, also known as a deity, with immense power over the physical and spiritual world. [1] Millennia ago, near-immortal beings visited Earth and took on the roles and identities of the gods of Greek mythology. Eventually, after Humans stopped worshiping the old gods, these beings departed for deep space.[2]
