Captain Garrovick was the commanding officer of the U.S.S. Farragut NCC-1647. When the dikironium cloud creature attacked the Farragut in 2257, 200 members of the crew were killed, including Garrovick. He was survived by his son, who ultimately joined Starfleet as well.[1]
