- ↑ The Akira's registry was given as NCC-63444 on the web site for the game Star Trek Online. This conflicts with other sources and has been disregarded.
- ↑ The Akira's commissioning date was given as 2268 in material from both the Last Unicorn Games and Decipher roleplaying games, but this conflicts with the U.S.S. Nez Perce NCC-62891 participating in the Romulan Blockade during the Klingon Civil War of 2367. To resolve the conflict, the commissioning date has been adjusted.
