In 2266, the College of Medical Sciences of the Tri-Planetary Academy published a thesis by Dr. Elizabeth Dehner on the results of a study of esper-oriented beings. Her work in the field was also why she was selected for her post at the Aldebaran Colony prior to the incident aboard the U.S.S. Enterprise NCC-1701 that took her life.[1]
