The U.S.S. Enterprise NCC-1701-D rendezvoused with the Challenger class[1] Starship Kearsarge after the Kot'baval festival on Maranga IV in 2370.[2] Named for the United States Navy aircraft carrier, which served as the recovery vehicle for Freedom 7, a Mercury spacecraft piloted by Alan Shepard.[1]
