The Hydran Kingdoms' Iroquois class new heavy cruiser was a variant of the Lancer class destroyer, and was the hellbore-armed version of the Hydran new heavy cruisers. The class appeared to have been a decent replacement for the venerable Dragoon class. Commissioned in 2296, the Iroquois class featured a crew complement of 360, a capacity of eight shuttlecraft, and was equipped with four science labs, two transporters, and three tractor beam emitters. The class carried two Stinger class fighters, was armed with four hellbore weapons, two banks of Type-1 phasers, four banks of Type-2 phasers, and two banks of Type-G Gatling phasers.[1]
