Anthony was a Starfleet officer. In 2380, he was involved in an unspecified accident[1] that mutated him into a salamander-like creature. Following his accident, he was transported aboard the U.S.S. Osler NX-75300 to "The Farm" — a facility on Endicronimas V run by Division 14 of Starfleet Medical. His fellow "freaks" assumed that Anthony, who could no longer speak, was Human.[2]
Notes and References
- ↑ Though not stated in the episode, the mutation that Anthony underwent was identical to that of Tom Paris and Kathryn Janeway aboard the U.S.S. Voyager NCC-74656 when they accelerated to Warp 10, and it is likely that Anthony underwent a similar experience.
