Kathryn Janeway was an Emergency Training Hologram—a holographic training assistant—aboard the U.S.S. Protostar NX-76884. Her program was modeled on Kathryn Janeway, one of the most decorated captains in Starfleet history, and she could be activated any time someone asked for help.[1]
