Lethe was a former patient inmate at the Tantalus V penal colony asylum, and by Stardate 2715.1 worked as a therapist under Dr. Tristan Adams. She refused to speak about her "past life," beyond describing herself at that time as "malignant" and "hateful." The episode implied that she was also one of Adams' victims, and had been subjected to the neural neutralizer.[1]
