One of the few Betans resistant to absorption into the Body by Landru, Tamar was part of a resistance cell on Beta III in 2267, and was the only member of the cell who knew the identities of the other two members, Reger and Marplon. On Stardate 3156.2, Tamar and Reger attempted to hide a landing party from the U.S.S. Enterprise NCC-1701 from the Lawgivers. When Tamar made an ill-advised jest about the Lawgivers being all-knowing, Hacom had him killed.[1]
