Oberth class[1]
The Federation Starship Crater, an Oberth class vessel, was commissioned in July 2351.[2]
Note
Named for Human archaeologist, Dr. Robert Crater. Although the "Star Trek: The Next Generation Officer's Manual" lists the Crater as a Sagan class vessel, this designation was superseded by the Oberth class name.
