The Hydran Kingdoms' Apache class medium command cruiser was a command version of the Tartar class medium cruiser, itself a variant of the Lancer class destroyer. While it had mixed armament, its hellbore weapons were clearly favored over fighters and fusion beams. Commissioned in 2292, the Apache class featured a crew complement of 420, a capacity of four shuttlecraft, and was equipped with three science labs, two transporters, and three tractor beam emitters. The class was armed with three hellbore weapons, two fusion beam emitters, four banks of Type-1 phasers, and two banks of Type-G Gatling phasers.[1]
