Captain Serult was the commanding officer of the Daedalus class U.S.S. Ptolemy. Three other starships aided Serult in the defense of Deep Space K-13 when it was attacked by Na'kuhl operatives in 2270, who were attempting to obtain neural parasites from the station.[1] Serult was killed and the Ptolemy was destroyed by the Na'kuhl in the original version of the mission, but in the revised version released in 2021, those events do not happen.
