Wyntara Mas Control Center (First Splinter)

The Wyntara Mas Control Center on Bajor was first put into operation not long before the Occupation, and it was reopened after the Occupation ended, which required a great deal of updating. It functioned effectively for three years, until construction was complete on a new planetary operations center. The walls, floor, and roof were constructed with a layer of kelbonite, which naturally interfered with transporters, and it also had a defensive shield grid. In 2383, following the destruction of Deep Space 9, the center was once again called into service as a temporary home for the station's operations until a new station could be constructed.
