A standard Mark IV, Type 6 photon torpedo — which was the default torpedo armament aboard the U.S.S. Protostar NX-76884 — was 210 cm long and 76 x 45 cm across. It weighed 247.5 kilograms when not loaded, and possessed a maximum yield of 1.5 kilograms of antimatter, with a median range of 3.5 million kilometers. The standard torpedo yield had a blast radius of 300 kilometers, and the torpedo was equipped with an independent guidance system.[1]
