On Stardate 3087.6, the ship's dilithium crystals were depleted by an unusual "nonexistence" phenomenon. The assistant engineer was assisted by Lieutenant Charlene Masters in re-energizing them, but was attacked and rendered unconscious by Lazarus (OS20), who stole the crystals.[1]
