Captain Serult was the commanding officer of the Daedalus class U.S.S. Ptolemy. Serult was aided in the defense of Deep Space K-13 when it was attacked by Na'kuhl operatives in 2270, who were attempting to obtain neural parasites from the station.[1] Serult was killed and the Ptolemy was destroyed by the Na'kuhl in the original version of the mission, but in the revised version, those events do not happen.
