The Federation Starship Einstein, an Oberth class vessel, was commissioned in April 2344.

Named for the Human physicist, Albert Einstein. Although the "Star Trek: The Next Generation Officer's Manual" lists the Einstein as a Sagan class vessel, this designation was superseded by the Oberth class name.
