Commander Hansen[1] al-Salah[2] was the commanding officer of Outpost 4 along the Romulan Neutral Zone[1] from circa 2255 until 2266. His son, Maat al-Salah, was born aboard Outpost 4 on 28 June 2248, but it is unclear if he was in command of the station at that time.[2] He was killed on Stardate 1709.2 when the outpost was destroyed by a Romulan Bird of Prey equipped with a new cloaking device and plasma torpedo weapon.[1]
