Intrepid class[1]

The Federation Starship Gallant, an Intrepid (II) class light explorer,[2] ferried Allied delegates to Cardassia Prime after the end of the Dominion War in 2375, to formally accept the surrender of Dominion forces.[3]

Note

The Gallant was presumably named in honor of the Defiant class U.S.S. Gallant NCC-74206, which was destroyed shortly after its commissioning.
