Shaxs

Lieutenant Shaxs was the chief of security aboard the U.S.S. Cerritos NCC-75567. He was quick to offer the most extreme and violent options to Captain Carol Freeman, which were usually rejected in favor of a more moderate approach. On Stardate 57436.2, when a rage virus broke out on the ship during a Second Contact mission with the Galardonians, Shaxs protected Ensign Brad Boimler, who was covered in the saliva of a spider-cow, which ended up becoming the key to curing the infected crew.[1]
