When James T. Kirk and Spock traveled back in time to 1930, Kirk used some of the money they made from jobs they'd secured to buy bologna for himself, and assorted vegetables for Spock, as well as other groceries and items that Spock needed to construct a mnemonic memory circuit.[1]
