Code of Justinian

In the sixth century,[1] Byzantine emperor Justinian codified Roman law.[2] This Code of Justinian was cited during Samuel Cogley's impassioned defense of Captain James T. Kirk during the captain's court martial proceedings on Stardate 2945.7.[3]
