The Federation Starship Hermes, a Miranda class vessel, was constructed to Mark II of the Reliant-type specifications and commissioned in June 2276.[1]
Although the "Federation Ship Recognition Manual"[1] listed the Hermes as Reliant class, the class name was later established on film and in other media as Miranda class.
