- RSD 1/80: Aesanna Lithir of Cygnet XIV is elected president of the Federation Council.[1]
- RSD 1/80: The Romulan X-3 "Aviary" class (Type 1) border defense outpost enters service.[2]

- RSD 1/8008: The Bode class scout becomes operational, the last major class to be introduced without a dilithium-moderated warp drive. A total of 51 will be built, and the class will remain in service until 2204.[3][4]
