During an incident involving moments of galaxy-wide "nonexistence," which Starfleet Command believed to be a potential prelude to invasion from an alternate universe, Lieutenant Masters worked with the engineering department to help restore power to the ship's dilithium crystals, which had been drained in the incident.[2]
