The Gorn Confederation vessel Barb, a DDF-type King Snake class fleet destroyer, first entered service circa 2250 as a DD-type destroyer. It was refit to the DD+ improved destroyer specifications circa 2268, and to the DDF fleet destroyer specifications circa 2286.[1]
