R'raak graduated from Starfleet Academy in 2409. During his cadet training cruise, he was assigned as a transporter operator aboard a Miranda class starship commanded by Captain Masc Taggart. When the ship came under attack by the Klingon vessel I.K.S. Chot, R'raak was wounded by the first boarding parties.[1] Following his graduation, R'raak was posted to Earth Spacedock.[2]
