  • Surak proposes a philosophy of logic and reason,[1] and records his philosophy in the Kir'Shara.[2] A group of Vulcans opposed to Surak's reforms, referred to as "those who march beneath the raptor's wings," engage in a series of wars, resulting in radioactive fallout that claims Surak's life at Mount Seleya. Ultimately, those opposed to the reforms choose to leave the planet, in search of a new home.[3]
