U.S.S. Caspian NCC-5507 (FASA)

The Federation Starship Caspian was a Larson class destroyer commissioned after Reference Stardate 2/2306 (June 2223). Prior to 2257, the Caspian was decommissioned and transferred to Starfleet Training Command, where it was used in training missions. In 2257, Cadet William T. Riker commanded a group of cadets on a training mission to rescue the Caspian and its crew, which had been set adrift in an asteroid field.[1]
