The Federation Starship Chimera was the lead vessel of the Chimera class heavy destroyer. In 2409, the ship was commanded by Captain Nog. The Chimera led a joint task force of Federation, Klingon Empire, and Romulan Republic vessels against a force from the Romulan Star Empire that had raided and taken over an asteroid mining facility, forcing the Romulan Empire forces to abandon the site.[1]
