Ptolemy class[1]
U.S.S. Copernicus[2]

The Federation Starship Copernicus, a Ptolemy class tug, was authorized for production on Stardate 0965.[1] Soon after Stardate 3040.2, the Copernicus, now pulling duty as a science vessel, rendezvoused with the U.S.S. Enterprise NCC-1701 at Ramedes III, where it took on Rell, a "worldsinger" from Theta VII.[2]
