The Federation Starship Crockett, an Excelsior class vessel, conveyed Admiral Mitsuya to Deep Space 9 on Stardate 47573.1.[1] Named for Davy Crockett, a Human frontiersman who served in the Tennessee legislature and the United States House of Representatives, then went to Texas to fight in their revolution, where he died at the Alamo.[2]
