Miranda class[1]
Miranda class[2]
The Federation Starship Gallant was a Miranda class vessel; in June 2276, the Gallant underwent a major refit to the Mark II Reliant-type specifications. The vessel was refit once again to the Mark III specifications in May 2280.[3]
Although the "Federation Ship Recognition Manual"[3] listed the pre- and post-refit Gallant as Anton and Reliant classes, respectively, the class name was later established on film and in other media as Miranda class.
