The Federation Starship Korby, an Oberth class vessel, was commissioned in August 2352.

Note

Named for the Human exobiologist, Dr. Roger Korby. Although the "Star Trek: The Next Generation Officer's Manual" lists the Korby, which was misspelled in that book as "Corby," as a Sagan class vessel, this designation was superseded by the Oberth class name.
